My name is Sonny Velasco, and I’m the founder of Sonny’s Speech Studio. Public speaking has been a part of my life for over 12 years, during which I have regularly delivered presentations to groups ranging from small settings to audiences of more than 2,000 people.

But my journey did not begin with confidence. Like many people, I once struggled with stage fright, overthinking, and uncertainty. Through disciplined practice, structured development, and repeated experience, I learned how to organize my thoughts clearly, manage nerves effectively, and communicate with calm composure.

Who are the lessons for?

How much do lessons cost?

Private coaching is priced at $100 per 45-minute one-on-one session.

Corporate coaching begins at $125 per 45-minute session. Customized programs and group training are available. Contact me to discuss your organization’s needs.

How are the lessons taught?

All sessions are conducted online via Zoom, allowing for flexible scheduling and easy access from anywhere.

Do I need any special equipment?

You will just need a computer, tablet, or phone with internet access and a working microphone. A camera is also needed so we can work on presence, delivery, and nonverbal communication.

What will I learn in the lessons?

You’ll learn how to communicate clearly, stay calm under pressure, and connect confidently with others in professional and business settings. My coaching focuses on practical skills you can apply immediately, whether you’re presenting, interviewing, leading a discussion, or speaking in professional conversations.

What are your business hours?

My standard availability is Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:45 PM (CST). Sessions outside of these hours may be available by request, depending on scheduling, and may include an additional fee.
